Historically, Russia's art as well as her artists have not been well known in Europe, much less here in America. The relatively closed nature of the Soviet era only contributed to that isolation. But with the break-up of the Soviet Union, Westerners have had more access to the Russian art world. The demise of the Soviet System also released a burst of artistic energy and creativity that Red Square Gallery will endeavor to bring to American collectors through its displaying artists.

Most of our artists are members of the prestigious Russian Union of Artists and are collected in Russia and Europe. Red Square seeks to offer a wide variety of styles, from traditional landscapes and village scenes to modern surrealism.

In addition to oil paintings, bronze sculptures, Red Square will offer exquisitely painted lacquer boxes from distinguished Russian craftsmen.
